Norfolk Autism Partnership Wider Membership

The wider membership of the Norfolk Autism Partnership includes anyone who is informally involved in our work. This may include individuals on our Involvement Register, those subscribed to our mailing list, or anyone who follows us on social media.

Autism Norfolk Forum

Autism Norfolk Forum is a place for autistic people of all ages and their families, along with anyone with an interest in autism, to engage with each other. It’s a place where you can share your experiences of autism in the knowledge that it will inform the current and future priorities of the Norfolk Autism Partnership Board. At each forum, you can get updates from members of the Board about its ongoing work.

Norfolk Autism Partnership Steering Group

The Norfolk Autism Partnership’s Steering group comprises Autistic people and their parents and carers. it is the role of this group to look at all the information gathered from the Autism Norfolk Forum, National and Local strategies, and communications we have through the website, as well as their own lived experience to set the priorities and agenda for the Norfolk Autism Partnership Board.

Young People Autism Advisory Group

YPAAG gives young people aged 11–18 the chance to meet regularly, share their ideas and experiences, and influence the work of the Norfolk Autism Partnership Board — the team leading autism support and strategy across the county.

Norfolk Autism Partnership Working Groups

The Norfolk Autism Partnership Board Working Groups oversee the implementation of the plans set out by the Partnership Board. These groups are inclusive and involve autistic people, parents and carers and experts by experience. Every member of the group has a defined role, with responsibility and ownership to explore all solutions to problems.

Norfolk Autism Partnership Board (NAPB)

The Norfolk Autism Partnership Board makes decisions to drive the work of developing the partnership's response to the autism strategy. It meets bi-monthly to inform and implement an action plan to deliver the Norfolk All Age Autism Strategy 2024 -2029.

Learning Disability & Autism Programme Board (LD&A Board)

The Norfolk Learning Disability & Autism (LD&A) Programme Board brings together key partners to improve the lives of people with a learning disability and autistic people in Norfolk. It plays a vital role in driving forward strategic change, monitoring progress against local and national priorities, and supporting the development of services that promote independence, wellbeing, and equality.

Health and Wellbeing Board

The Norfolk Health and Wellbeing Board is a partnership of local leaders from health, social care, public health, and the voluntary and community sector. Its main role is to improve the health and wellbeing of people in Norfolk by promoting joined-up working and reducing health inequalities. The Board oversees the development and delivery of the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy and ensures that local services are shaped by the needs of communities, with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, and supporting people to live healthier lives.
